For three days, Christians in Ebenebe, Awka North Local Government Area have been converging on Saint Thomas Anglican Church, to seek God’s face against rising return to idolatry in the community which speakers at the crusade described as “spiritual death”.
The Crusade, themed “”Out of Darkness into Light”, according to the organizers was carefully chosen to address the increasing spiritual challenges within the community, particularly the resurgence of idolatry.
Speaking on the last day of the crusade which ended with a special Service, the guest preacher and Anglican Bishop of Diocese of Amichi, Right Reverend Ephraim Ikeakor implored Christians to run away from idolatry and seek true freedom in Jesus Christ.
