Before His crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection, Jesus had foretold all the events even as the Prophets had written. However he assured them that he was going to build His Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail.

The Lord also told the disciples that perilous times shall come but He promised to always be with them even until the end of the world.

To say that the prophecies concerning the end times are unfolding before our eyes is to state the obvious.

The Anglican Church in Anambra State has been in the vanguard of evangelical activism based on the Lord’s Promise.

It is against this background that the Province of the Niger Anglican Communion started the Anglican Prayer Rally of Anambra State a decade and one year ago.

The Prayer Rally was also in response to the Lords injunction to go into the World and Preach the Gospel to all Nations and a practical response to the need for Prayer in daily life. Eleven years down the line, the gains of the prayer rally have been enormous with multiple testimonies.

Once again, it is time for refreshing, seek the face of God, break the shackles and dispel darkness so that God’s Children can shine brighter as the light and stars of the World and bring out their true flavor as salt of the earth.

As the Anglican Prayer Rally 2024 holds tomorrow Saturday at Dr Alex Ekwume Square Awka beginning from nine o’clock in the morning , it promises to be another great gathering of God’s People to Pray, supplicate, and intercede with one voice.

The theme for this year’s edition is “It shall be well with the righteous” Isaiah Chapter three: verse ten.

The word of God will come with power through God’s Vessel, Right Reverend Professor Israel Okoye, the Bishop of Ihiala Diocese, Anglican Communion, while the Chief host is Most Reverend Dr Alexander Ibezim, Archbishop Province of the Niger and Bishop Awka Diocese.

All Anglican faithful from Diocese on the Niger, Awka Diocese, Nnewi, Aguata, Amichi, Ogbaru, Ihiala, Diocese of Niger West and Diocese of Niger East are expected to turn out in large numbers and hold God by his word that it shall be well with the righteous.

Everyone is invited to be part of God’s showers of blessings at this perilous time.

Expectedly, All Bishops, Clergy and parishioners from the nine dioceses of the Province of the Niger Anglican Communion shall be there for another Life Changing encounter with the Lord. Since the Lord says it shall be well with the righteous, anchor your faith on God’s words and join this prayer rally. Remember Faith commeth by hearing the word of God.

Your Presence at the Anglican Prayer Rally 2024 is an open cheque because with God all things are possible. Simply stretch your Faith and take what belong to you in Jesus name.

Anglican Prayer Rally 2024, you are welcome.
