One person has been killed and seventy-three injured in Taiwan where Super Typhoon Kong-rey, one of the most powerful storms to threaten the island in decades, made landfall.
Packing maximum wind speeds of one hundred and eighty-four kilometers, Kong-rey slammed into eastern Taiwan on Thursday afternoon, the Central Weather Administration said.
