The Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engineer Julius Chukwuemeka has said that including many youths in his cabinet has shown that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is interested in developing the future of the state.

Receiving the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Mr. Christopher Molokwu who paid him a visit accompanied by some members of his management team, Engineer Chukwuemeka said that he is happy that a youth is now in charge of affairs of the ABS as according to him, walking away from analogue to digital broadcasting will go a long way in ensuring that Ndi Anambra at home and in diaspora will be well equipped with firsthand information on what Governor Soludo is doing in the state.


He said that his ministry will partner ABS in areas of interest to ensure that they discharge their duties which he said is a critical aspect of development that cannot be toyed with even as he highlighted all the achievements of the governor in all sectors.

Earlier, Mr. Molokwu said that the visit was to familiarize with the Power and Water Resources Ministry while seeking ways to collaboration, especially in the provision of power infrastructure that would enable the media house serve the Anambra State audience better and efficiently even as he commended Governor Soludo for what he is doing in the areas of street lighting and pipe borne water across the state.


The Director of News and Current Affairs ABS, Mrs. Juddy-Jeff Nwabueze, the Director of Commercial Services, Mrs. Uju Ifediba, Anambra State, Vice Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalist, NUJ, Anambra state council, comrade Ngozi Obileri, ABS Senior Editor Mr. Abuchi Nwozor and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Power and Water Resources, Mr. Victor Ezekwo were part of the visit.
