Anambra State Executive Council has observed a prayer for the fallen Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South Senatorial District at the tenth National Assembly.
A press statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, recalled how he led the Government delegation to the burial at Nnewi, and how the senator’s passage was a major loss that served as a reminder of human mortality.
Anambra State Executive Council also during its meeting encouraged investors to take over the management of public enterprises in the State by restating that leasing and concessioning public enterprises are better alternatives to the Government managing them directly.
It restated that the Anti-touting Law of Anambra State remains in force and advised touts to join the Soludo administration’s empowerment schemes for legitimate livelihoods and approved tax exemptions in Anambra State for groups whose business capital is less than one hundred thousand naira.
