The staff of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, were thrown into joy and dancing today as they began receiving the N70, 000 minimum wage, assuring him that they will back his term bid.
The Labour force under the Anambra state government began receiving the new minimum wage in October following Governor Soludo’s promise to immediately implement the increment.
Speaking on the increment, a staff of the establishment and Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Anambra State Council, Comrade Ngozi Obileri praised Governor Soludo for paying the minimum wage, which clearly shows he is a governor with human face and assured him that the Labour unions in the station will deliver Governor Soludo in the next guber polls.
Contributing, other members of staff of ABS, Mr. Kenechukwu Chukwudi and Mrs. Eucharia Nwachukwu, with tears of joy, acknowledged the hike in food stuff prices and family demands, saying that the increment alert will surely help me take care of their need this yuletide.
They appreciated the Governor and the Managing Director of ABS, Mr Chris Molokwu for implementing the minimum wage and the 10% salary increment.
