A Chieftain of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in Umuawulu, Awka South Local Government Area, Chief Azubuike Ekweozor, has commenced a mobilization campaign for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second term bid.

Chief Ekweozor, who spoke to journalists after meeting with Umuawulu ward executives and stakeholders of APGA; who installed him as the leader of the party in the community, expressed his support to the governor, citing the Governor’s impressive performance in just two years and eight months in office.

Speaking on behalf of others, the Umuawulu APGA ward Chairman, Mr. Sunday Okpala, described Chief Ekweozor as APGA pillar with the area, adding that the re-election of Governor Soludo in 2025 will strengthen the unity of Ndigbo, giving them a stronger voice at the centre.

The event, which featured a minute silence in honor of late APGA leader in Umuawulu leader, Right Honourable Harford Oseke, was attended by several dignitaries, including the President General of Umuawulu Community, Chief Barrister Chris Ekweozor, and the Awka South LGA APGA Chairman, Barrister Chukwuma Lawrence.
