Members of the Anambra State House of Assembly have been urged to give accelerated passage to the state 2025 Appropriation Bill in order to achieve the set goals.
Speaking in Awka, the Vice President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene, said this would enable the Governor to commence early implementation to further consolidate on his achievements, and lauded the Governor for effective and efficient implementation of previous budget, expressing satisfaction with the cordial relationship among the arms of government.
He extolled the pace and quality of work done on the new Government House and Lodge, Ekwueme Square Awka, Awka Fun City, the Ekwulobia Flyover project and dualization of strategic roads in the state, which he noted would open up communities, link up various parts of the state and boost socioeconomic activities.
Chief Okeke-Ogene noted that Governor Soludo has brought a new dawn in the state; as his multi-sectoral and integrated approach to governance has impacted positively on quality of life.
