Over one thousand former members of Labour party have dumped the party for All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
Governor Soludo received the new members at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Center in Awka.

The decampees were led by their national coordinator, Chief Rochas Orji, along with state and local government coordinators.


Receiving them, Governor Soludo described the party as the foremost progressive party in Nigeria and reiterated his commitment towards creating an enabling environment for speedy transformation of the State.


The State Chairman of APGA, Barrister Ifeatu Obiokoye revealed that the mass exodus of Ndị Anambra into the party is because Governor Soludo has worked more than his predecessors within a short period, just as the Governor’s Special Adviser on Political Matters, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu said that they had been in talks with the group in the last six months.
