Christians have been charged to be heavenly minded than focusing on worldly possessions in order to escape damnation.

Reverend Father Peter Ndianaefo gave the charge at the burial mass of Late Mrs Christiana Ugbor of Irunnebo village, Enugwu-Ukwu in Njikoka local Government Area held at St. Frances Catholic Church, Enugwu-Ukwu.

Reverend Father Ndianaefo who said that death reminds Christians that they are strangers here on earth, enjoined them to always shun all forms of sinful acts that distance them from God in order to make heaven after their sojourn on earth.

In an interview, the son in-law of the Late Mrs Ugbor, the Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Anaocha Local Government Area, Chief Anthony Ugorji described her as a good mother in-law who treated him with love and raised her children in fear of God.

In a vote of thanks, the first son of the deceased, Mr Mathew Ugbor thanked God for the life of her mother who sacrificed a lot to ensure that all her children became successful in life.

In his condolence message to the family of the deceased, a stalwart of the APGA in Nawgu, Dunukofia Local Government Area, Chief Tochukwu Ibekie represented by Mr Chukwuemeka Ugbor enjoined her family to be consoled by the fact that she lived a fulfilled life

Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr Afam Obidike, the state Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Chief Chinedu Nwoye, the Mayor of Anaocha Local Government Area, Chief Romanus Ibekwe among others attended the burial ceremony.
