The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has asked Ndi Anambra at home and in the Diaspora to disregard the social media-heightened insecurity in the state, saying that Anambra remains the state with the lowest security challenge in Nigeria as shown by the data recently released by Security Check in Nigeria.
The Governor made the call in Awka during the APGA Apostles Forum Christmas Luncheon and Banquet for all members of her council of patrons and patronesses.
Governor Soludo who was represented by his deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim restated the commitment of his administration towards ensuring the safety and well-being of people of the state and commended members of APGA Apostles Forum for their efforts towards a stronger APGA and ahead of the 2025 gubernatorial election.
The National Convener of the APGA Apostles Forum, Chief Nchekwube Dunga said that they decided to celebrate their patrons and patronesses for their enormous contributions to the progress and success of the group and APGA in general, restating the commitment of the forum towards ensuring the victory of all APGA candidates in every election in Anambra and across Nigeria.
On his part, the National Director of Strategy and Compliance of the group, Mr. Emeka Ozumba, stated that the group is the foremost grassroots-oriented support group devoted to strengthening APGA and enhancing the party’s relevance in Nigeria’s political sphere.
In various remarks, the APGA Vice Chairman for Anambra Central, Chief Nduka Okoye, and the Member representing Idemili South Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Ebuka Igwe, lauded the group for their support to APGA and Governor Soludo, saying that next year’s election will be a walkover for Governor Soludo as his good works speak volume of him.
