The Managing Director of Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade, Mr. Celestine Anere has warned those engaging in human trafficking in the State to relocate or face the full wrath of the law.
Speaking at Otolo Nnewi after a joint taskforce of OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare busted a human trafficking enclave, Mr. Anere promised that the state government will continue to crack down on all sorts of criminality in the State.
The joint task force rescued thirteen children aged between two and twelve from a suspected child trafficker, one Angela Okechukwu and her collaborators.
Some of the residents of the community, Ikechukwu Nnabuike and Ifechukwu Okoro recalled several interventions they had made against the woman and appreciated the State government for the rapid intervention.
