A philanthropist, Dr Paul Ezenwa has distributed over one thousand bags of rice to the less privileged persons in Oraeri, Aguata Local Government Area in the spirit of Christmas celebration.
Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that the gesture took place at the compound of Dr Ezenwa in Oraeri where his brother, Mr Alfred Ezenwa who represented him explained that the philanthropy which has lasted for five years is his own way of putting smiles on the faces of his people.
Some of the beneficiaries, including Njideka Ibedionu and Onyebuchi Muoka who regretted that the current economic situation has made it difficult for them to afford the basic necessities of life, expressed gratitude to the benefactor for coming to their aid.
