The Anglican Bishop of Ihiala Diocese, the Right Reverend Israel Okoye, has charged members of the Knights of the Church to be steadfast in upholding the word of Godand to be self-disciplined as soldiers of Christ.
Speaking during the admission of some faithful into the Knighthood Order of Saint Christopher and Saint Mary at Saint Stephen’s Diocesan Church Center in Ihiala, Right Reverend Okoye emphasized that Knighthood is demanding.
He advised those who claim that Knighthood is a secret society to desist from such and cautioned members of the Knighthood Order of the Church against corruption and greed, which he described as the bane of the society.Â
In an interview, one of those admitted into the Knighthood Order, Sir Chukwuma Ezedike, thanked God for using Bishop Okoye for the upliftment of the faithful.
