A nurse, Mr. Kingsley Chukwuma Nkemakolam has won the maiden edition of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) Lip Sync Challenge.

The graduate of Nursing Science from Imo State University, and native of Mbaitolu in Imo state beat other contestants to clinch the one hundred thousand naira prize money.
His winning song ‘If’ by Davido polled the highest number of votes and likes in the show’s social media platforms.
Speaking to the ABS after collecting his prize money, Mr Nkemakolam thanked the organizers for providing a platform for young people to showcase their talents to the world.
He however said that though, he has a passion for music, that will not deter him from practicing his nursing profession. 
The host of the ABS Lip Sync Challenge, Paschal Osubor praised the talents of all that participated in the contest, and disclosed that forty-six contestants from various states in Nigeria contested in the competition from where eighteen finalists were selected at the keenly contested auditions after which their performances were shot at various locations in Awka and uploaded on social media platforms where Nkemakolam’s video polled the highest number of likes and views.
Commenting on the exercise, the Managing Director and CEO of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Nze Uche Nworah said that the ABS Lip Sync Challenge was one of the many youth oriented programmes from the organization.
He promised that ABS will do more to provide a platform for young people in the Anambra state and the South East to showcase their talents.
Nze Nowrah explained that the ABS desires to be the platform where young people with creative abilities can find a space to be active in the creative economy including dance, music, comedy, fashion, ICT, films and others.
