The Chief Executive Officer of Nwaguatahihia Motors Limited and Properties, Chief Kingsley Chukwukeme, has doled out three hundred and fifty million naira to empower over one thousand individuals and businesses with different items during the fifth edition of his annual empowerment programme held in memory of his late father, Chief Uchedife Akpuakaeme.

Correspondent, Blessing Dennis reports that the event held at his country home in Umudinkwa village, Umudim, Nnewi, featured the distribution of thirty shuttle buses, one hundred motorcycles, one hundred sewing machines, five hundred bags of rice and litres of groundnut oil to different persons, as well as award of scholarship to brilliant but financially disadvantaged students, bringing the number of beneficiaries of the programme to over two thousand.

Speaking at the event, Chief Chukwukeme said his philanthropy stems from the unfortunate death of his father because his family could not afford one hundred and fifty naira then for his medical treatment.

In their remarks, some of the friends and well-wishers of Chief Chukwukeme, including Mr Okezie Adindu, Dr Emmanuel Eze, Mr Kingsley Ezeruo and Miss Rejoice Ugochukwu praised him for his exceptional leadership style and unwavering dedication to helping people, while one of the beneficiaries, Miss Kindness Emmanuel, expressed her gratitude for receiving a sewing machine and promised to make the best use of it.
