It was a moment of mixed emotions for the people of Adazi-Ani community in Anaocha Local Government Area during the last Ofala celebration of their Traditional ruler, Igwe Robert Nwankwo, which offered opportunity to reflect on numerous achievements he made on his forty-seven years on the throne, including the electrification of the town, establishment of Adazi-Ani market, among other things.

In a remark, the Traditional Prime Minister of the town, Chief Augustine Okeke, thanked God for the gift of Igwe Nwankwo, and prayed that God will sustain the peace and unity he instituted in the community.

The Mayor of Anaocha Council Area, Mr Rome Ibekwe, immediate Past Transition Committee Chairman of Anaocha Council Area who hails from the community, Chief Gerald Ozor, the President General of Adazi-Ani, Barrister Ikechukwu Ezechukwu, illustrious son of the town, Chief Daniel Okafor, described Igwe Nwankwo as a man of the people who throughout his life time projected the name and image of the community to the world, as well as made great men and women through his philanthropy.

Children of Igwe Nwankwo, including Prince Bossa, Adaora and Chioma, described their father as their world, and appreciated God for his good impacts and legacies.
