A foundation, Women Academic Doctors of Adazi-Nnukwu Community Foundation in Anaocha Local Government Area has been inaugurated, during which young girls were advised to aspire to be fit and worthy in character and learning in order to perform their fundamental role in the society.
Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that the foundation was inaugurated at Adazi-Nnukwu town hall by the Chairman on the occasion, Professor Ken Nwogu.
The Founder, Dr. Scholastica Iloghalu, explained that the foundation is dedicated to empowering young girls in the community through mentorship, education and community engagement, with emphasis on fostering character, leadership and social responsibility.
Others, including Dr. Ify Obiudu and Mr Emeka Iloghalu, noted that girl child education is vital for a prosperous and equitable society, and expressed confidence that with the foundation, the mentees will become people who will add values to the society.
