Participants at the third biennial convention of the Ekwulobia Community Association United States and Canada have called for the engagement of all stakeholders, including parents, Ekwulobia leaders, various Christian denominations and the Anambra State Government in resolving what they called the ongoing practice of appropriating school playing grounds for the purpose of erecting church buildings.
They made it clear that school playing grounds must be secured to help keep Ekwulobia youths engaged, thereby reducing illnesses among the youth population, and stressed the need for the association to engage the traditional institution and town leadership to ensure that over forty million naira investment it made at the Urban Girls Secondary School Ekwulobia does not become a waste.
The group, in a communique made available to the ABS, also resolved to join efforts with other stakeholders in Ekwulobia in ensuring the security and safety of  the community and all its citizens.
