An Ichida-born philanthropist in Anaocha Local Government Area, Chief Innocent Chikezie, has been conferred a High Chief in the Community for his contributions to the development and progress of Ichida and beyond.
The conferment took place at the palace of the traditional ruler of Ichida, Igwe Charles Ezeudeogu.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo, top government officials, community leaders, and cultural proponents, graced the occasion.
Speaking at the event, Igwe Ezeudeogu described Chief Chikezie as a beacon of hope and an exemplary son of Ichida.
The recipient, Chief Chikezie expressed gratitude to Ichida community and its traditional institution for recognizing his efforts.
