Plans are on to build better relationship between Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, and the Awka community.

 

The Traditional Ruler of Awka Community, Obi Gibson Nwosu, disclosed this through the Traditional Prime Minister of Awka Community, Chief Benjamin Okoye, during an advocacy visit by the Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Mr. Christopher Molokwu, who was accompanied by the Director Legal Services of the ABS and Abuchi Nwozor of the News and Current Affairs of the ABS who is an Awka indigene.

Obi Nwosu described ABS as a frontline broadcast media in the Southeast and reassured the station of the continued support of the Awka community.

Earlier, the Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr. Christopher Molokwu, explained that the purpose of the visit was to seek the blessings of the Traditional Ruler of Awka, Obi Gibson Nwosu urging the people of Awka to increase their presence at ABS.

Highlight of the visit was a special prayer led by Obi Nwosu and the presentation of a book titled Beckoned by Destiny about Obi Gibson Nwosu to Mr. Christopher Molokwu.
