The Traditional ruler of Ihite in Orumba South Local Government Area, Igwe Timothy Ifurunwa, has said that with his certification by the Anambra State Government, the development of the community has commenced with renewed efforts.
Speaking after he received a certificate of recognition from Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Igwe Ifurunwa commended the transformation agenda of the Governor, and pledged continued support of his people.
Governor Soludo had, while congratulating the Traditional ruler on his well-deserved recognition, said he is looking forward to working with him and others to promote peace, progress and development in Anambra State.
Speaking at a gathering organized in Awka in honour of the traditional ruler, some Ihite community members, including the Chairman, Anambra State Urban Regeneration Council, Architect Mike Okonkwo, a one-time Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area, Honourable Cyprian Okereke, Mr Chibuzo Okoli and Mrs Ndidiamaka Ugboaja described Igwe Ifurunwa as a trusted hand for the development of the community.
