The new National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has said his major programme would be to bring a lasting reconciliation to the organization.

Mr. Rollas, who was elected at the National Congress of the Association in Enugu, said he will also help give Nollywood practitioners a greater opportunity to practice their art. 
The resolution of the long war between Emeka Ike and Ibinabo Fiberesima at the Conference led to the emergence of Mr. Rollas as the new President 
Elsewhere, Hollywood directors have paid tribute to Tobe Hooper, who passed on last weekend.
He died of natural causes at the age of 74 in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The director was best known for the 1974 movie “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre”, featuring central villain Leather face.
