Principals in Anambra secondary schools have been asked to extend skills and entrepreneurial subjects to junior classes.
Speaking on the importance of teaching skills to students during the second term management meeting of Onitsha education zone, the Chairman, Post Primary Schools Service Commission, PPSSC, Awka, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu, said this is in line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s “One Youth, Two Skills” programme.
Earlier, the commission’s boss had asked the Principals to be in-charge in their schools; security-wise, prepare their students for WASSCE CBT scheduled to commence in 2027, and to ensure that they retire the hundred thousand naira running cost and two thousand naira per student given to them before they will receive another.
