Community leaders and other stakeholders have been urged to collaborate with state government for effective implementation of land administration laws.
Speaking in Awka, the immediate past Vice President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Damian Okeke Ogene said this will help curb the increasing challenge of land disputes that are adversely affecting socioeconomic growth and development in various communities and sometimes threaten life and property.
Chief Okeke Ogene lamented that many youths are only interested in selling land to multiple buyers and encroaching into other people’s land instead of acquiring skills and decent source of livelihood that is sustainable and called for mass enlightenment of people on land administration laws to enable them understand the implications and consequences of their actions.
