The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Anambra State, Professor Sylvia Ifemeje has called on the Police to always investigate cases properly before prosecution to avoid injustice.
Professor Ifemeje who made the call during her courtesy call on the new Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Dr Ikioye Orutugu at the Police Headquarters in Amawbia, called for synergy between the Judiciary and the Police to raid Anambra of all forms of criminality.
Receiving the Attorney General in his office, Dr Orutugu assured that they will discharge their duties in accordance with the law and avoid acts that could portray their image in bad light.
