Anambra PPSSC Chairman Ikediugwu Urges Guidance Counselors To Inculcate Positive Igbo Values In Children

Guidance Counsellors have been charged to teach Anambra school children positive Igbo values to encourage hard work and respect for elders.

The Chairman, Post Primary Schools Service Commission, PPSSC, Awka, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu gave the charge while declaring open a one-day workshop themed, “Who is a Counselor?”, organized for Anambra state school Counsellors at Girls Secondary School, Awka.

Professor Ikediugwu told counsellors to bring back sanity in the schools by teaching the children the benefits of hard-work and respect for elders and to de-emphasize get rich quick syndrome.
