The enforcement team of the Anambra State Physical Planning Board has demolished illegal structures constructed on waterways in Enekwasumpu, Idemili North Local Government Area.
Correspondent Ejike Abana reports that the team led by the Chairman of the Board, Barrister Chike Maduekwe, demolished the buildings after the developer disregarded warnings from the authorities.
Barrister Maduekwe who highlighted the negative impact of the structures, said that the government will pursue legal action to recover the costs incurred in the enforcement.
