Four plus four is equal to eight, was the slogan on the lips of Anambra students selected from all the tertiary institutions in the state as they demand for the return of Governor Chukwuma Soludo for second term.
They made this demand during the launching of Solution Students Movement of Nigeria, at the Nursing Auditorium, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam campus.
Inaugurating the movement, Governor Chukwuma Soludo represented by his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Mr Alex Obiogbolu said Governor Soludo believes so much in students as future leaders, recalling that the Governor promised to make Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe, a university and has accredited all the courses in COOU.
The Acting Vice Chancellor COOU, Professor Kate Omenugha, expressed happiness that the students organised themselves and passed vote of confidence on the Governor, noting that the free WIFI installed for them by the Governor would be commissioned next week.
The chairman on the occasion and the Managing Director Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, Mr Osy Onuko highlighted Governor’s achievements in Education Sector including employing over eight thousand teachers, free education from primary to secondary school level, reason he said the students should support Governor Soludo’s second term bid.
