The Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of The Niger, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim says sin is a barrier between God and man and calls for total repentance throughout this lenten season.
Most Reverend Ibezim who stated this at the Cathedral Church of Saint Faith, Awka, during a special service to mark this year’s lenten service noted that if Christians open themselves in the presence of God, he is ever ready to forgive for he paid a huge price during this season of trial to redeem mankind and reconcile them with their maker.
Most Reverend Ibezim who is also the Bishop, Diocese of Awka, asked the congregation to humble themselves as they are in a period of sober reflection, knowing that God is not seeking for their physical being rather their spiritual being for total restoration.
