The people of Ekwusigo Local Government Area, have thrown their full support behind the successful conduct of the November eighteen gubernatorial election in the Area.
The chairman Transition Committee of the Council Area, Mr. Ikenna Ofidili, gave the assurance while playing host to the State Director , National Orientation Agency ,Dr Mike Ozoemena, who was in his office on advocacy visit with his management team.
Mr. Ofodili, condemned the no election campaign of some group in the state and urged the people to come out enmass and exercise their franchise as citizens of the state, come November eighteen.
He stressed on the danger of boycotting the election in the state describing it as something that will destroy every democratic principles and economic development of any state, pointing out that the local government will always support the conduct of a peaceful election in the state.
In his remark, the NOA Director, Dr Mike Ozoemena , pleaded with the local government chairman to assist the Agency financially in flagging-off the voters Education campaign by next month in order to make the election a success.
