It was a moment of sorrow and sober reflection as family members, in-laws, friends and well-wishers gathered to pay their last respect to the late Chief Roland Obodo whose remains were committed to mother earth in his county home Oraukwu in Idemili North Council Area of Anambra State.
In a sermon during the burial mass at his compound, Reverend Jonas Okozo described death as inevitable part of life and debt all mortal must pay; hence the need for righteousness.
Some of his children of the deceased, Mr Ogochukwu Obodo, Mrs Ijeoma Ezeogo and Mr Ugochukwu Obodo, described their late father as an epitome of hard work who taught them to be industrious, and promised to uphold his legacies.
Sir Josephat Obodo, who expressed dismay over the demise of his brother, charged the children to remain united as a family.
