Governor Chukwuma Soludo has assured the people of Orumba North and South Local Government Areas of the state government’s commitment to the provision of more social amenities in the areas.

Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that Governor Soludo, represented by his Chief of Staff, Chief Earnest Ezeajughi, gave the assurance when a stakeholder of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Ambrose Egwuonwu, hosted the state Executive of the party, members of the party in Orumba North and South, three aspirants of the Anambra South Senatorial District bye-election in his country home Awa, where he urged the people of the areas to support the re-election of Governor Soludo, whom he said has done well in all sectors, saying that the people of Orumba North have benefited immensely from the infrastructural development and political appointments of the Governor.

In his remark, the host, Chief Egwuonwu, who used the event to endorse Governor Soludo for a second term, explained that he hosted the party because of the outstanding achievements of the Governor in the state, particularly Awa, and to ensure that APGA maintains its position as a party deeply rooted in service, ensuring that no one is left behind in its people-centred leadership.

Anambra State Chairman of APGA, Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, who lauded Chief Egwuonwu for hosting the meeting, described it as a timely effort to foster conviviality, greater unity and bonding among members of the party
