Ahead of her weeklong silver jubilee celebration scheduled to commence on 20th of May, 2025, featuring combined convocation ceremony, the management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University led by the Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Kate Omenugha, has paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of ABS, Mr Chris Molokwu, seeking the station’s collaboration for the success of the event.
According to Professor Omenugha, COOU will also celebrate thousands of people that have graduated; aimed at encouraging the younger ones in academic pursuit at the institution.

Professor Omenugha, who congratulated Mr Molokwu on his appointment as MD ABS, said the station is well position to help project COOU activities, including the celebration of twenty-five years of existence of the university, during which the Anambra State Governor’s wife, Nonye Soludo, will be celebrated for his healthy living initiative, among other honorees.
Welcoming his guests, the ABS Boss, Mr Molokwu, noted that being a university graduate, he looks forward to seeing higher institutions contributing to better the society, hoping that the state media and educational institutions would collaborate on that, just as he promised ABS presence and other forms of support for the success of the event.

Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Professor Mathias Añanti, Chairman of the 25th Anniversary Committee, Professor Kingsley Nwozor, and PRO, Dr Harrison Nwabueze, were part of the COOU team, while the Director of News and Current Affairs Department, Mrs Judy-jeff Nwabueze, and Director of Commercial Services, Mrs Uju Ifediba, joined in receiving the visitors.
