The Wife of the State Governor, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, has through her Non-governmental Organization, the Caring Family Enhancement Initiative,

CAFE, absorbed the indigenes of the State that returned from Libya, for various skills acquisition training.

The eleven returnees, who are ten males and a female, are to be trained in skills of their choice, as a way of integrating them into the society.

Addressing the returnees, the Governor’s Wife, represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mr. Emeka Ozumba, enlightened them on the activities of CAFE, saying that the training and empowerment are aimed at making them useful citizens.

Chief Mrs Obiano, encouraged them not to see their present condition as the end of their lives, but to always trust in God and themselves for a brighter future.

She also advised them to take the skill acquisition training seriously , as they can through the skills actualize their dreams in life.

Speaking to the ABS, some of the returnees, Mr. Ndubuisi Okwudiba, a native of Ogidi in Idemili North local government area, and Miss Nnenne Ikechukwu from Alor in Idemili South local Government Area who appreciated the State government for coming to their aid, especially the Governor’s wife, promising to participate actively in the training and prayed God to reward the Governor’s wife, for giving them such an opportunity.
