It is a blessing for a man to attain the biblical stipulated age of seventy and greater blessing when such a person adds to it.
Such was the case of the founder of Tansian University Umunya, Very Reverend Professor Johnbosco Akam, as he celebrated his seventy-one year birthday in a grand style.
It was a moment of joy, celebration and thanksgiving as people from all walks of life including the clergy and the religious converged on Pius Akam Avenue Oka-Uga to felicitate with Very Reverend Father Professor Akam.
The event was a double celebration as the clergyman also celebrated the tenth annual thanksgiving ceremony of the graduate beneficiaries of his scholarship foundation Konigin Des Friedens.
In a homily to herald the events, a Priest, Reverend Father Stephen Echezona, advised Christians against doubting the word of God as according to him, God has a good plan for everyone which needs to be discovered and efforts made to bring it into reality.
Reverend Father Echezona who gave a comprehensive account of the life and achievements of the celebrant, described him as a man of great destiny.
