The State Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Anambra, Mr Charles Nwoji has called on Ndi Anambra to register to acquire their National Identification Numbers (NIN).
Mr. Nwoji who made the call in Awka said that all Local Government Council Headquarters has a National Identity Management Corporation office, where anyone could register to obtain the document.
He said that the only requirement in ascertaining one’s state of origin which could be through, driving licence, international passport, letter of identification from President-General of Town Unions and voter’s card.
Nwoji emphasized that the registration was not new but was only re– launch to create more awareness on the need for every citizen to get his or her data captured in the National Identity Management System.
The National Orientation boss enjoined Anambra residents to take the registration exercise seriously, noting that Anambra State places first in the South East as state with highest number of registered citizens.
