Nigerian police has been commended for its sustained efforts against social vices.

Speaking on the ABS Audience Participatory Programme, “Newspaper Review” a Financial Management Expert and Political Analyst, Ichie Mike Odumodu, said the raid of gay hideouts in Lagos was a welcome development and should be extended to other parts of the country as the immoral act is gradually spreading all over the country, urging them to act as fast as possible to curb the evil act before it becomes uncontrollable.

Correspondent, Oluebube Udeh, said Ichie Odumodu also advised the Federal Government to strengthen security across the country to protect the citizens.

He cautioned pregnant women on the dangers of taking alcohol as it could expose the unborn babies to some defects including mental disorder and other side effects.

Also speaking during the programme, a magazine publisher, Mr. Nnaemeka Obitube, advised Lawmakers to uphold the principle of rule of law in affairs of the country, while urging the federal government to respond to Miss Leah Sharibu’s call to the president to come to her aid so as to release her from the clutches of the Boko Haram.
