Some stakeholders in Awka South have endorsed Prince Ifeanyichukwu Anugwu to represent Obizi_Awka South Two Constituency in the State House of Assembly.

The endorsement came when Prince Anugwu declared his intention to vie for the position at Central Primary School Mbaukwu

The event attracted the eleven Ward Chairmen and APGA representatives in Obizi, Presidents General of the seven communities that make up Obizi, friends and well wishers.

The event got to its climax when Prince Anugwu was received at the arena amid cheers with twenty one gun salutes, chants of APGA Songs and prayers.

The Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Barrister Harford Oseke who presently represents Obizi_Awka South Two, said Prince Anugwu, has sacrificed a lot for Ndi Obizi, adding that it was the turn of Mbaukwu to represent the Constituency.

The Deputy Speaker called on the delegates and others to vote with their conscience while upholding equity and fairness.

The State Deputy Chairman of APGA, Mr Tony Omeligwe_Elee said as an aspirant, Prince Anugwu has distinguished himself among others, but reassured of APGA’s stand on free and fair primaries.

In their goodwill messages, Chief J.I Ejison, Chief Azubike Ekweozor and Prince Joseph Okonkwo, expressed their belief in Prince Anugwu’s ability to attract more development and progress to Obizi, and deliver democracy dividends to the doorsteps of the small and mighty.

While presenting his intention to the public, the convener, Prince Anugwu said he is coming out to help the poor in their Constituency, empower the constituents and attract sustainable development.

He prayed God to use the party delegates and members to make his vision and mission come to reality.

Prince Anugwu used the medium to empower over fifty widows selected from the Constituency, as well as presented Brass band instruments and learning materials to Central School and Obiora Primary school, both in Mbaukwu.

The Awka South Chairman of the party Barrister Obiora Udeoba, also presented the aspirant with the party flag.

Among those that graced the occasion were some members of the State House of Assembly include, Honourable Obinna Emenaka and Princes Nikky Ugochukwu, among others.
