As 2019 general polls inches nearer , a concerned group, Integrity Mandate Foundation Movement says only lawmakers that were quite representative of Ndi-Anambra in the sixth Assembly should be given the mandate to return.
The Chairman of the group, Chief Ossy Afulukwe was speaking shortly after an empowerment programme at Nimo by Dr Pete Ibida, representing Njikoka One Constituency.
Chief Afulukwe who extolled Dr Ibida for staying in touch with the people throughout his first term, added that he deserves to continue with his people oriented programmes and projects as a two time member of the state Assembly.
The group frowned at people who loose touch with the needs and yearnings of the masses once they get into office, pointing out that they would checkmate activities of treasury looters and people with inordinate ambition.
According to him, Njikoka representation will not be sacrificed on the altar of zoning, which was never agreed upon by the communities in the area.
