The Founder Wealthy Gen, Dr. Charity Ezenwa-Onuaku, says the nongovernmental organization will continue to positively transform the lives of the indigent widows in the society.
Dr. Ezenwa-Onuaku stated this during an interaction with a widow from Agbaenu village Akpu in Aguata local government area of the state who received succour from the NGO, Wealthy Gen.
The philanthropist disclosed that she was motivated into selfless service to humanity by her passion for the less fortunate in the society, and explained that Wealthy Gen is founded with the aim of providing better life for poor widows in Nigeria who struggle to fight poverty after the demise of their husbands.
Dr. Ezenwa-Onuaku noted that aside empowering the widows, Wealthy Gen assists them in opening bank accounts to encourage them have savings for the growing of their businesses and upkeep of their families.
She disclosed that through this year’s “WE Project” of the organization, the nonprofit making outfit has secured a well equipped shop for a Widow at Akpu in Aguata local government area, and as well provided her with financial literacy and business training to help her manage and grow the business.
Dr. Ezenwa-Onuaku used the opportunity to call on wealthy individuals to support the NGO with their resources to enable them continue to assist the poor for a better society.
In a remark, the beneficiary who is a mother of three, Mrs. Ifeoma Ukadike who went down memory lane on the palatable condition of the family and how it turned ugly after the demise of her husband thanked God for the Wealthy Gen’s intervention which she described as an answer to her prayers.
Mrs. Ukadike thanked the founder of the NGO for remembering the less privileged, and prayed God to reward her abundantly.
