The Vicar of Christ Redemption-Church Ezi-Awka, Venerable Dr Nnamdi Enemdu says the Church has remained instrument of maintaining sanity, morals and peace in the air.

Venerable Enemdu was speaking in a sermon during a Church tService.

He said those who trust solely in God and keep his Commandments will never lack his blessings and protection, since there is liberty in God .

Venerable Emendu regretted that some Christians only seek the face of God only when in difficulties and stressed that every true child of God will trust and follow Christ at all times, promote peace and live life filled with God’s directives, so as to maintain a stable society.

At the Divine Mercy Catholic Chaplaincy, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku-Awka, a visiting Priest, Reverend Father Cyprian Ezeakunne advocated charity amongst Christians, noting that those who render acts of charity to others will be rewarded.

He encouraged the congregation to avoid bad attitudes, as those following them are emulating their footsteps and called on those in authority to have concern for workers under them and strive to make their conditions better.

Also at Saint Philip’s Anglican Church Umuodu, Okpuno, the Vicar, Reverend Canon Rufus Ezeokolonkwo, said that Christ is the master protector of all without whom life will be meaningless.

He charged all Christians to play their roles by following the part of Christ and be conscious of the way they live their lives.

Prayers to usher in the month of October were offered in all the churches visited.
