As Nigeria marks her fifty-eight Independence anniversary, the Member representing Anambra Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly,
Senator Victor Umeh, has called for the restructuring of the Nigerian-Nation to encourage competition and development.
Senator Umeh who made the call in an interview with the ABS in Awka maintained that Nigeria is richly blessed, adding that there are many frustrations in the country and made it clear that people cannot be forced to stay together where they feel that they are being marginalized.
For the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa, political leaders should always place priority on the welfare of the masses.
Venerable Okwuosa, prayed for the nation to continue on the path of greatness. A one-time Chairman Board of Directors of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Professor Elochukwu Amaucheazi, said for Nigeria to still remain as a Nation her leaders should always lead with the fear of the Lord.
The immediate past Provost, Federal College of Education Technical, Umunze Professor Joesphat Ogbuagu, Nigeria is still on course as according to him there are room for improvement, expansion and better performance.
