Governor Willie Obiano’s blue print on agriculture has continued to attract commendations.
Speaking to the ABS in Awka, a community leader at Nise, Chief Boniface Egbutu, who described the Governor’s agricultural revolution as second to none, called on the youths to key into the programme in order to become self reliant.
According to Chief Egbutu, apart from his massive investment in agriculture, Governor Obiano has equally touched virtually all the key sectors of the State economy, and called on the citizenry to continue with their support and prayer to his administration.
Chief Egbutu who maintained that Governor Obiano has improved the aesthetics of Awka the State Capital through Infrastructure, called on the citizenry to always protect government facilities in their various areas.
Also speaking the President-General of Neni Town Union in Anaocha Local government area, Chief Chukwudi Mbonu, called on other Governors to emulate Governor Obiano by investing heavily in agriculture to ensure food security.
He described agriculture at the mainstay of the Nation’s economy before the advent of oil and called on the federal government to always assist practicing farmers through farm inputs and funds for enhanced productivity.
