The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, says it is confident of winning a minimum of eight governorship seats in the 2019 general elections.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters and immediate past National Publicity Secretary of APGA, Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, made this assertion in the latest edition of ABS Radio and Television News and Current Affairs program; FACE THE PRESS.
Chief Obi-Okoye maintained that his party is a grassroot’s movement in
the Southeast and some states in North Central zones of the country
because of APGA’s strong belief in restructuring of the Nigerian
federation.
He explained that the party’s choice of an intellectual presidential candidate from the Middle Belt was informed by the need for a paradigm shift from backwardness to progressive socio-economic and political system in Nigeria.
The Governor’s Political Adviser explained that contrary to
insinuations in some quarters, the party’s primaries in Imo state was
generally free, fair and credible and enthused that APGA would sweep
the polls in the state in the forthcoming general elections.
