Members of the National Youths Service Corps Batch C, stream one posted to Anambra state, have played host to members of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Anambra state chapter who were at the Orientation camp in Umunya, Oyi Council Area to sensitise them on the opportunities abound in the association.
Nigeria Institute of Public Relations which is among the thirty professional bodies in the country is charged with promoting, building as well as fostering peace between the organization, and security at large.

Addressing the Corp members, the chairman of the state NIPR lady Chinwe Nnedum while charging them to obtain their professional qualification in Public Relations, revealed that the NIPR certificate is equivalent to the Ordinary National Diploma and qualifies them for direct entry into any Nigerian University and as well partake in NYSC.

The state NIPR Boss described the certificate as an additional qualification advising the young graduate to start early in planning for a brighter future in order to be above their counterpories the
world over.

Contributing, the State Secretary of the NIPR Dr. Venatus Agbanu, acknowledged the importance of Public relations as a management Course that improves good rapour between an organization and the public and will afford the Corp members good relationship and interaction with their host communities

Responding, the state coordinator of NYSC Mr Kehinde Aramu represented by the Public Relations Officer, Mrs AƱuli Molokwu appreciated the Institute, for taken the step which he described as strategic, noting that it will avail the Corp members multiple options in the labour market.
