Movie Makers’ Ambassadors of Nigeria (MMAN) has appealed for partnership with Anambra State Government.

The Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. C Don Adinuba, said Government will support MMAN to discover and nurture raw talents in the state.

Mr. Adinuba said this during a courtesy call on him in his office at Jerome Udoji, Secretariat, Awka, by MMAN.

He said they have a lot of people from movie industry under Governor Willie Obiano administration, adding that Anambra is the first and only state in Nigeria to create a Film Academy under its broadcast station, the Anambra State Broadcasting Service (ABS).

Mr. Adinuba said that Governor Obiano has directed that entrepreneurship scheme must be introduced in the academy.

Earlier in a remark, the President of MMAN, Mr. Eddiking Mbachu, said the organization consists of film makers, entertainers from different organizations and their aim in setting up the body is to bring back
entertainment into Anambra State.

He further noted that they established the organization and thought it wise to partner with Anambra Government so as to achieve the purpose of sustaining it.

Dignitaries during the courtesy call were, the Acting Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mrs. Obiageli Umeadi, Acting Director,
Information, Mr. Anthony Nweke.

Others are Acting Director, Admin, Mrs. Obianuju Uzor and Acting Director film, Mrs. Vivian Obi.
