Rule of Law and Anti crime Commission, ROLAC, under European Union, has installed E case management system at the state Ministry of Justice for easy and quick administration of justice.
The Director of the programme, Dr Buck Hanaut, in company of the ROLAC management team Abuja, National Programme Manager, Dr Badaladu Mark and Component Manager, Dr Tony Badejomi during the visit donated metal cabinet, plasma TV, Panasonic Air Conditioner, fans, solar energy, stabilizer, dell computer, UPS, sharp photocopy machine, refrigerator, extension cable, water dispenser among other things to the state Ministry Of justice.
Presenting the items, state Coordinator ROLAC, Mrs Josephine Onah explained that it is their desire to donate the items to the Ministry to support efficient case management system aimed at strengthening and protecting the rule of law, curbing corruption to enhance good governance in Nigeria and stressed that they initiated the intervention in line with the request of ROLAC programme to build their capacity on the knowledge of the law.
Mrs Onah noted that they have trained some staff of the Ministry that have the skills to work on the case management system to be well positioned and utilized, reiterating that they have commissioned consultancy and validated with their key partners.
Thanking the ROLAC team, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Anambra state, Dr Barrister Uju Nworgu expressed happiness over the presentation of the items needed for the e-case management system as discussed with the ROLAC earlier.
Dr Barr Nworgu further appreciated the training given to the staff of the Ministry by ROLAC who will pilot the man of the system, expressing belief that the programme will go a long way in enhancing implementation of justice in the state.
Barrister Nwogwu thanked the team for the distribution made in the Ministry for capacity development, assuring them of judicious use of the equipment.
