An ultra modern market is to be built for Akwu-Ukwu community in Idemili South local government area by the member representing Idemili South Constituency in the state Assembly, Barrister Chuka Ezenwune as part of his constituency project in the area.
Barrister Ezenwune also presented a cheque for one million naira to the Town Union of the
community in fulfillment of his promise to support their road construction project.
Already there were signs of commencement of work at the market site as there were heaps of sand, chipens and other building materials.
Presenting the cheque, Barrister Ezenwune stated that he cited at least one project in all the communities within his constituency, assuring that the Akwu-Ukwu market project will be built to standard and completed within record time calling on the people to remain steadfast in their support for APGA.
Barrister Ezenwune also inspected his constituency project at Oba Civic Center in Idemili South council area where he sunk a borehole and built six outlets modern toilet facility with over head tanks.
Responding, the President General of Akwu-Ukwu and the Councillor representing Oba Ward Two in Idemili South Local Government area, Mr. Ekene Aghasiefo commended Honourable Ezenwune for his quality representation testifying that all communities in his constituency have benefited from his constituency projects and empowerment programmes assuring him of their unalloyed support for APGA in the forth coming general elections.
Honourable Ezenwune also presented a cheque for eight million naira to Awka-Etiti community to enhance the completion of their ultra modern stadium where he was welcomed by the traditional ruler of the community, Igwe Engineer Michael Chidozie, igwe in council and the President General of the community, Mr. Joachim Okeke.
Honourable Ezenwune also planted smile on the faces of his constituents during the yuletide by distributing over hundred bags of rice and other gifts aimed at giving them a sense of belonging.
