The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in this year’s general elections, retired General John Gbor, says he will eradicate abject poverty in Nigeria if given the mandate.

Retired-General Gbor who stated this while exchanging views with newsmen in Abuja, described poverty as the common denominator amongst the Nigerian masses irrespective of geopolitical locations.

The APGA Presidential candidate blamed the problem facing the country on selfishness and promised that a federal government under his watch would reverse the ugly trend.

Retired-General Gbor assured that his administration will drastically reduce the cost of governance and channel the gains to the well being of the underprivileged and provision of basic amenities for enhanced living standards of the people.

He maintained that the Restructuring Plans of the All Progressives Grand Alliance will make Nigeria a truly democratic country where all the ethnic nationalities will have a sense of belonging.

Retired-General Gbor expressed happiness with the good governance and unparalleled delivery of democracy dividends by the APGA led government in Anambra State, pointing out that Governor Willie Obiano’s glaring achievements in the State has further endeared the party to many.
